Nate is health-adjacent, so we treat chat and intake data as sensitive. We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers. Questions go to support@nate.coach.

§1What we collect

  • Account and contact details, such as your email address.
  • Billing information handled by Stripe. We do not see your full card number.
  • What you send Nate, including chat messages, check-ins, goals, habits, food context, activity context, and any health or medication context you choose to provide.
  • Technical and usage information, such as device/browser data, page views, checkout events, and error logs.
  • Support emails or other messages you send us.

§2How we use it

  • To provide Nate and keep context across conversations.
  • To process payments, cancellations, and refunds.
  • To respond to support requests.
  • To keep the service secure, debug errors, and prevent abuse.
  • To understand aggregate product usage, such as which pages or signup steps are working.
  • To comply with law and enforce our Terms.

§3Health and wellness data

Some information you send Nate may reveal health or wellness information, such as weight context, food habits, medication context, or goals. We use that information only to provide and support Nate.

Where laws such as GDPR require explicit consent to process health data, we rely on that consent. You can withdraw consent by emailing support@nate.coach, but Nate may not work without the information needed to provide the service.

§4Who receives it

We use service providers to operate Nate. They may process data for us only so they can provide their services.

  • Stripe for payment collection and billing records.
  • Hosting, database, and infrastructure providers.
  • Chat-channel providers, such as Telegram or future channels.
  • AI model providers used to generate Nate's responses.
  • Analytics and error-monitoring tools.
  • Email and support tools.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of the business.

§5What we do not do

  • We do not sell your personal data.
  • We do not share chat or intake data with advertisers.
  • We do not use sensitive health data for ad targeting.
  • We do not use your chats to train future models unless you have clearly opted in.

§6Retention and deletion

We keep information while your account is active and as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above, including billing, security, support, legal, and fraud-prevention needs.

You can ask us to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data by emailing support@nate.coach. We may keep limited records where required by law or needed for legitimate business records, chargeback handling, fraud prevention, or legal claims.

§7Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. No internet service can be perfectly secure, so do not send Nate emergency information or anything you would not want processed by an online service.

§8Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of your data. EU and UK users may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.

If we materially change this policy, we will update this page and, when appropriate, email existing customers before the change takes effect.
